Here are some experiences that speak to my state.
Education and expanding my sphere of understanding has always been a core component of my life. Math and Science have underwritten a love of literature and poetry for me. Philosophy has been a focus of a multi year study on from where our cultural ideas of intelligence emerge.
My professional experiences include Business Ownership/ Management, Education, Hospitality, Accounting, Grant Writing, and Public Service. My professional life has always been rewarding both personally and publicly. Financial rewards has always taken a back seat to growth.
I often have said that there is a difference between entertainment and recreation, entertainment passes your time with pleasure, recreation engages the self and leads to growth (and is fun and relaxing). Of course that could be narcissism lighting my hobbies…
If you are not a Christian, I’ll happily discuss non judgmental Christianity with you…if you are a Christian, what can I say…God is great! If you created this picture, please don’t sue me, it’s awesome and it is how I feel sometimes early in the morning.
Interests in biology and the natural world has blossomed into a life long interest in botany, plant science, and horticulture. While house plant propagation is my current garden face, a functioning small farm has always been a life goal.
I try to have music on continually, my friends must feel comfortable turning it down. There are great tunes in all genres, but if it’s under 180 bpm, it better be pretty unique. Bass is for bands and the rest is for when I’m playing with myself.
