Love God With Your Whole Heart

Being a Christian in this world comes with sizable demand for explanation. Doctrine, Proof, Definition, and Comparative Analysis weave throughout the church. While these lenses are themselves gifts from God for contemplation of the world around us, they are not applicable to the worship of our Lord.

We should never forget our family, our brothers and sisters created under God. Jesus is the full explanation and personification of God to man in terms that we can understand. That is why knowing the Gospel is so important. It’s not about a belief in resurrection or reincarnation (although it happened), it’s about understanding that there is no failure. There is no future in which the enemy wins. Unconditional love and realization of the self to the point of selflessness are what God wants from us, not for us to be worried about the things of this world.

As we subjugate our desires and goals to developing a heart for God (no, we don’t have to be martyrs, we just need priorities), we find that the very desires that were keeping us from God are shadows of what God actually intends for us.

Family is what is important. Our fathers, mothers. . .our brothers and sisters, we are all prodigal children, and we are all the sibling at home, full of judgment on the ones that left. We should walk gently with each other.
